The foundation of our designs are based around historical Japanese materials, joinery and the modularity of a Tatami mat. That inspirational base was then paired with a modern twist to traditional agrarian forms. This intentional mix of homage and creativity led to something that is provocative, warm, fresh, new, invigorating and responsible.
