DOMO

DOMO - Japanese for ‘very much’.

The word Domo, meaning ‘very much’ in Japanese, is a design that encourages ‘more’ along two fronts. There is a common phrase in architecture - ‘less is more’. This saying comes from the understanding that doing ‘less’ with a design actually requires ‘more’ - more effort, more thought, more intentionality, more attention, more time. The design is simple, clean, minimal and celebrates modern lines and approachable elegance. On the opposite side of the spectrum, Domo encapsulates ‘more’ in a beautifully gluttonous fashion. Abundance of light floods the space through copious amounts of fenestrations. The structural grid frames the window openings - promoting views out at every step and turn. The surplus of windows backed by a fully wrap-around deck cultivates a relationship between indoor and outdoor - blurring the physical boundary and playfully inviting dialogue between the two. This design - our largest and most honest in form and execution - pays tribute to the understanding of ‘more’ in all of the best ways, while advocating for a life as enjoyable inside as it is on the greatest of adventures.

We appreciate your interest in Domo and we will notify our mailing list when it's available. Thank you!
